Ingredients

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
In a medium saucepan, heat 1 3/4 cups cream, the milk, and 1/2 cup sugar until the sugar is dissolved; do not allow to boil. Remove from the heat.
Add the chocolate and whisk until melted.
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg and 1 tsp of the vanilla.
Gradually whisk in the chocolate mixture until well blended.
Add the croissant cubes and stir gently until coated. Transfer the mixture to a 6-cup baking dish and sprinkle the top with 1 Tbsp sugar.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the center of the pudding is gently set. Do not over-bake.
While the pudding is baking, whip the remaining 1 cup cream with 2 Tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla.
Serve the pudding warm with the whipped cream.
