Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 package spaghetti sauce (approx 1 1/2 oz)
- 3 cups water
- 6 oz ketchup
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 8-oz package egg noodles cooked and drained, undercooked slightly
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 3-oz package cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and minced garlic until the meat is browned. Drain the fat from the pan. Then add the pepper and stir to mix.
- In a small bowl, stir together the spaghetti sauce, water, ketchup & thyme.
- Add the spaghetti sauce to the beef. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat, simmer for 20-30 mins.
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- In a small bowl, stir together the sour cream, cream cheese and the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Place half the cooked noodles in a 3-quart baking dish, rectangular preferably.
- Spread half the meat mixture over the noodles.
- Then spread 2/3 of the cheese mixture over the meat sauce layer.
- Spread the remaining noodles over the cheese layer.
- Completely cover the top layer of noodles with the remaining meat sauce.
- Then spread the remaining cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until the casserole heated throughout.
